Sustainable Pest Control Solutions
Integrated Pest Management
MMPC is an industry leader in using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) to provide effective, long-term pest control by identifying and addressing the conditions that allow pests to thrive. This is a proven approach that leads to a steady decline in infestations over time.
The key to successful pest control is proper sanitation, exclusion, and communication. We work together with our clients to implement a combination of pest control methods and IPM strategies, including but not limited to:
- Modifying habits and cultural practices, such as improving sanitation and building maintenance
- Monitoring physical and mechanical controls to directly kill pests, prevent pest entry, or make the living environment unsuitable for pest survival
- Reducing and eliminating points of harborage by implementing proper storage practices and properly-maintained landscaping
- Chemical control using pesticides that are all-natural and EPA-approved, in situations in which it is the most viable solution
Cockroach Control
To control roaches, MMPC utilizes a full line of EPA-approved pesticides including BASF products and FIFRA 25(b) exempt botanical insecticide.
BASF manufactures some of the world’s safest and most effective pesticides for residential homes. Botanical insecticide derived from natural plant oils has been useful for centuries to control and repel pests. In addition to pesticide application into cracks and crevices to flush out and kill roaches that are present, MMPC will apply gel bait in stations that only the roaches can access, along with glue boards to monitor population levels.
Rodent Control
To control mice and rats, MMPC installs rodent bait stations and glue board traps. Our bait stations are tamper-proof to ensure the safety of children, staff, and pets. We use slow-acting bait to prevent rodents from recognizing the source of the poison, allowing for effective long-term rodent population control.
Annual Bed Bug Reports (Local Law 69)
In New York City, Local Law 69 of 2017 requires owners of residential multiple-dwelling buildings to submit an annual bed bug report by December 31st. For clients with an annual recurring service contract, MMPC will complete the LL69 filing on your behalf, upon request, at no additional cost.
