Animal control is a public service, typically run by a government agency, that deals with:

• Lost or stray pets (usually dogs and cats)
• Sick or injured wildlife believed to have rabies
• Aggressive wildlife causing an immediate danger
• Dead wildlife in public areas

Wildlife control is a private service, performed by licensed professionals, that deals with:

Can I remove wildlife myself?

We never recommend removing wildlife yourself for several reasons. First and foremost, it is not safe.
